John McCain picked a former Alaska beauty pageant’s Miss Congeniality (source) as his running mate. Sarah Palin, who less than two years ago got elected Governor of Alaska, will join McCain as his running mate.

Speaking last night to 84,000 wildly cheering Americans at Denver’s Invesco Field (formerly Mile High Stadium), Barack Obama literally scored on every play.
One early example was when he, after making sure to first honor John McCain for his military service, added:

Much has been written lately of Sen. Barack Obama’s new “negative” TV commercials, the very latest of which is featured above. Some decry this as “politics as usual” and not what Obama had promised going into the campaign.

Sen. McCain continues to flip flop on his so-called core principles. The latest? Affirmative Action. Now, surprise surprise, McCain opposes Affirmative Action but 10 years ago he called the attempt to repeal the law divisive.
